John Toole Collection (MS067)
Margaret M. MacGill Genealogy Collection (MS254)
The collection consists of information on the O’Meara, Lynch, Beach, Gossom, and Voorhees families including many collateral lines. Included is correspondence, notes, copies of documents (birth, death, marriage, deeds, wills, military, etc), articles, obituaries, and other miscellaneous items. All pertaining to the history and genealogy of the aforementioned names.
Mary Crawford Powell Collection (MS236)
Collection documents the ancestral lines of Dr. Robert Conrad Powell and his wife, Mary Crawford Gregory, also the ancestral lines of Ruth Ashton the wife of Dr. Lewellyn Powell. Done for the benefit of the children by their Grandmother.
McKnight, Piercy, and Jacobs Collection (MS051)
This collection consists of three series related to the McKnight, Piercy, and Jacobs families. In each series there are sub-series of letters, legal documents, and genealogical materials. Contents also include military records, harbor and ballast master papers, an 1849 inaugural ball invitation, and miniature portraits of William P. McKnight and Margaret Jacobs. McKnight correspondence relates to the Civil War.
Ramsay Family Papers Collection (MS012)
This Collection contains a number of items all from the original Ramsay Family papers which were donated to the Smithsonian Institute: an account book from Andrew and William Ramsay dated 1798-1801, photocopies of Ramsay letters, history of Ramsay house, genealogical notes on the Ramsay family, Rebecca Ramsay Reese papers and diaries.

This collection consists of letters, notes, business documents, and genealogical research from and on the Shakes, Carne, and Ficklin families. The materials were donated by various uknown donors from 1983-2015 and compiled into a collection created by Alexandria Library's Lloyd House and later Local History/Special Collections branch.
